For our first photography assignment we had to do what our journal 2 was except instead of finding images in magazines we took them ourselves. Simple assigment, the difficult part was turning them into black and white. Not that changing their color was hard (1 photoshop class away from being certified, come on people!) but I am a color person. Black and white images can be extremely powerful but for some reason color envokes more emotion out of me. After this semester of black and white, everything might change though!

Also, Saturday day [pre hero for the day moment] I was taking my photoshop class all day and bored out of my mind. We have reached the 4th segment of the class where we are now preparing for the impossible certification test. I could go on all day about that test and how I think it is absurd but I will spare you… except with this one thought: Photoshop is for the creatives, so why do they make us take a multiple choice vocab test with no images and/or screen shots, pure memorization? This test proves no ones skill set at all. Ok, I’m done
